Caleb and Jamaris | Worship Missionaries

Our passion is to host the presence of God and lead others into an encounter with Jesus

John Garcia Endorsement | Living In Dependenceville

We are so thankful to the many friends who have come alongside this project called Dependenceville. One incredible friend is John Garcia, of Legacy Church. John is an amazing man of God who travels all around the planet but never forgets to pour into his home city of Tampa Bay.

We are grateful for his friendship and this amazing endorcement of “Living in Dependenceville” Read it here:

“I’ve had the honor of reading many books and endorsing some of them. However, this is not your fly-by-night read. “Living In Dependenceville” is an epic read on the beauty and bliss of walking in intimacy with the All Sufficient One. It unlocks our minds to be able to see beyond the veil of performance religiosity and gaze right into the heart of a gracious and loving Father.

You’re not going to want to put it down and may have a hard time remaining hinged to the familiar. In fact, I hope you experience what I experienced when reading it.”

Brian Simmons Endorsement | Living in Dependenceville

I am so honored to have this endorsement from Brian and Candice Simmons for my upcoming book! Check it out:

“Caleb Hyers is one of those radical lovers of God that you’ll be hearing from more and more in the coming years. As well as pastoring in Florida, he now travels the globe as a worship leader ministering with his beautiful new bride. He’s touching lives every where he goes, living out the message of this incredible book!

As you read get ready to encounter the joy and freedom of salvation; Kingdom living in all it’s fullness! We love how Caleb describes it, “A place where the music never stops and love is on display in everyone!” We know that you’ll love what you read as it’s wonderfully and solidly supported by the Word of God and beautifully described through the eyes of this true worshipper!”

Who’s Your Daddy?

The Lord has been revealing to me just how important our “origin” is. Those who carry the Holy Spirit within and have a personal relationship with Christ are known as “Born-again” believers. This born-again experience gives you a new origin and therefore “adopts” you into a new bloodline.

So who’s your daddy?

I think we pass up huge revelation when we deem a certain moment in scripture as “familiar” and don’t mediate on it. One of the best tips I ever received concerning reading the bible was from my friend Brian Simmons ( stairway ministries.org – The Passion Translation ). Brian said, concerning reading the word of God, we need to simply “slow down.” Consider the truth of this verse:

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

( Ephesians 2:10 ESV )

This is a verse many of you reading this have heard plenty of times. I want to point out that our familiarity with something does not necessarily equate understanding of it. Just because you know something, doesn’t mean you fully understand everything about the concepts and premise and context etc…

This verse tells me where every new covenant believer originates. It says you where created in Christ… Your origin is in HIM! We have a new origin when we come into the kingdom. Our bloodline changes and we have the DNA of Jesus Christ himself because that is who we where created in.

Isaiah 9 calls Jesus the “Everlasting Father” because he is where every Holy Spirit filled believer comes from. He is the one true source of eternal life and in Him all things hold together.

Who’s your daddy?

The point I am laboring towards is this: we have a new starting point in Jesus. Your past no longer exists. Your family history no longer dictates your future. You have a new beginning and origin and it is in Him whom there is no variation or “shifting of shadows” ( James 1:17 )

You are in fact the “good and perfect gift” that came from the “Father of lights” and therefore you need not be bound by your family line or past mistakes. You can walk in the ways of your Father, Jesus Christ. He who is perfect has called you to be perfect. How does that happen? We simply “be” in Him who is perfect. We don’t “do” anything except “be”.

So if you find yourself excusing behavior that you know is inappropriate due to that fact that it is “how you where raised” or one of those “my family is just this way” I want to challenge you to look unto Jesus who si the author and finisher of our Faith. He is the one you should be acting like, not your earthly parents or siblings This is not impossible, it’s actually a believer’s reality taught by John.

“Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.”

( 1 John 2:6 NLT )

So who’s your daddy? And do you look anything like Him? Whatever doesn’t look like him is actually not your current reality, but a phantom thought process that needs to be renewed according to the new creation that you are. So disown your earthly habits and tendencies and walk in the ways of Jesus.

He who started a work in you is faithful to complete it. You can be everything He has called you. Let His love be your ultimate motivation and cure. He adores you and will never call you anything less than His Beloved!

So be loved by Him today. He is your Daddy.

“For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.”

( 1 Peter 1:23 NIV )

C&J go to Bethel! | Summer intensive at WorshipU

Hey everyone, we are excited to announce that we are going to be attending Bethel Redding’s school of worship this July!
WorshipU is a 10 day intensive for those in the realm of worship arts and we are so excited to learn and grow!

We need to raise the remaining funds for our tuition. Our Musicianary partners are amazing and we are able to get to California and back and pay for food because of them! Yay! But we still need help with the combined $1600.00 in tuition funds.

If you would like to contribute any amount, please see this link: https://fs2.formsite.com/bethelchurch/form185/index.html

**IMPORTANT**

Place the name “Caleb Hyers” or “Jamaris Hyers” in the ‘Student name’ section.

Thank you all so much for your support. We are grateful for your partnership in this and giving us the opportunity to grow and learn!

Jesse Birkey Endorsement | Living in Dependenceville

We can’t overstate how grateful we are for all the amazing men and women who have come alongside this project. Jesse Birkey is one who has been a staple throughout, reading rough drafts and offering invaluable support and feedback.

This endorsement means so much to us and we can’t say thank you enough to you Jesse! ( check out his website at jessebirkey.com ) Read his endorsement here:

“I’ve always thought individualism is one of the hardest things for us to overcome. Jesus came with a message imploring us to trust him, to rely on him with our entire being but the struggle remains. The framework of our perception of God is often tainted by tragic experiences and we are left believing that we are the only ones safe to trust. Caleb Hyers challenges that twisted web by inviting us to enter, Dependenceville.

It’s a town with a system committed to unraveling the lies keeping us from leaning on God with all of our hearts. Caleb shows us that it’s not only safe to place our hearts in the hands of God, but that it’s a requirement to experience the abundant LIFE Jesus came to bring. So enter the city limits and discover the joy that comes when we confidently place all of our needs, and wants, into the hands of God.”

Richard Mull Endorsement | Living in Dependenceville

“This is not a religious book, it is an encountering God manual.” – Richard Mull

We are so grateful for this incredible endorsement by Richard Mull for Caleb’s book “Living In Dependenceville.” Read the full endorsement here:

“I normally tell anyone who writes a book, “congratulations.” Everyone talks about writing a book but only a few ever attempt the task. So, “congratulations.” But I have to go further, by far. First, I want to state that this is an excellent book and is worth the read. I have known Caleb for most of this journey and as you read of his personal accounts, you realize that he is not writing about theory or ideas. He is writing about a life lived for God and under God’s leadership. Caleb has lived what he writes about. What He says, is backed by what He does.

This is not a religious book, it is an encountering God manual. I heartily endorse Caleb as a man of God, man of integrity and one who lives what he preaches before he preaches it. I also heartily endorse Living in Dependenceville as a manual for Son’s of God, to learn how to follow the True Son, the Only Begotten Son.

This is a book that everyone should read. But watch out, it will shake your complacency and could threaten your comfort zones. It could change your life.”

Winnie Banov Endorsement | “Living in Dependenceville”

God has blessed us with amazing favor to have one of His generals endorse Caleb’s first book! Winnie Banov is an amazing woman of God who travels the globe feeding orphans and widows and preaching the simple gospel full time!

She is the Co-founder of Global Celebration and an incredible gift to the body of Christ as a teacher and Mother. Check out what she had to say about Caleb’s book, Living In Dependenceville!

“Caleb Hyers is a young man that my husband Georgian and I met just over one year ago. In such a short amount of time he has already joined us on four different international mission trips. Not only is he musically talented but a gift of writing seems to flow from within. Lyrics, poetry, stories, songs and now this book. Maybe he is older than he looks!

In order to speak or write one needs to become a good listener, and it’s obvious that Caleb has been listening to the Holy Spirit. For that quality, besides a host of many others, we are coming along side him.

We applaud him for his thinking, his reasoning and ability to come to some kind of a conclusion. I believe this will continue for the rest of his life on this earth. As he communicates the Gospel in all its simplicity he will propel the message forward to those generations that are yet to be born. To grasp the grace of God at any age is monumental, so we are more than delighted that Caleb and his wife Jamaris are running in this grace course with all the affections of their heart and obvious child like faith! We cheer you on and look forward to many other lyrical offerings from you.”
